Larry Shallenberger is a pastor and author in Erie, PA where he serves on the pastoral team at Grace Church. Larry is married and is fathering three sons. In addition to his own books, Larry has contributed to countless multi-authored projects including the Gold Medallion winning Hands-On Bible and the God Sightings Companion to the One-Year Bible. Larry is also a columnist at the Burnside Writers Collective.

Before becoming a pastor, Larry spent several years working in children’s mental health as a case manager. Much of his work in the church setting has centered around training volunteers to help children connect with God. Larry is a sought after speaker and has spoken in venues like Willowcreek  Church.  Larry is currently on the advisory board of The Mentoring Project, a non-profit dedicated to confront the crisis of American fatherlessness.
